A Commitment to Excellence
At Southern Stain, every project is a testament to our dedication to perfecting timber. With over 500 successfully completed projects, we deliver results that are efficient, safe, transparent, and visually stunning.
Founded by Alex in 2018, Southern Stain emerged from a deep understanding of the market’s need for superior timber finishing solutions. As a subcontractor, Alex often encountered clients dissatisfied with the results of painted staircases, which frequently ended up with rough handrails, unsightly paint stains, and diminished timber aesthetics. Leveraging his extensive experience and passion for timber, Alex envisioned a service that would restore, protect, and elevate the natural beauty of timber.
Today, Southern Stain stands as a premier provider of custom timber finishing, staircase polishing, and door staining services across Melbourne’s homes and commercial spaces. Our team, led by Alex, employs advanced sanding and polishing techniques, complemented by minimally-invasive, eco-friendly products, ensuring that your timber surfaces achieve a timeless, luxurious finish that endures.
